



Rules and Regulations The Susan Ann Foundation Home Raffle
This raffle is conducted by The Susan Ann Foundation, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Grafton, Ohio. EIN: 41-4055682. This raffle is conducted in compliance with Ohio Revised Code Chapter 2915, specifically ORC Section 2915.092, and all applicable state and federal laws.
One residential property located in the Village of South Amherst, Ohio, with an independently appraised fair market value of approximately $500,000. The property will be transferred to the winner through a licensed title and escrow arrangement. The Susan Ann Foundation will provide assistance with federal tax obligations upon a 2 year residence agreement with the winner. No cash equivalent will be substituted for the property prize. The Foundation holds clear title to the property.
Tickets are $100.00 each. A maximum of 30,000 tickets will be sold. The raffle drawing date will be decided once a minimum of 20,000 tickets have been sold. No specific drawing date is guaranteed. Each ticket will be assigned a unique number. All ticket proceeds will be deposited into a dedicated raffle checking account used exclusively for this raffle.
Each ticket will include the following information as required by Ohio law: the name and address of the organization, the date of the drawing or the condition triggering the drawing, the price of the ticket, and a unique identifying number.
Participants must be 18 years of age or older to purchase a ticket. The raffle is open to legal residents of Ohio. Employees, board members, officers, and immediate family members of The Susan Ann Foundation are not eligible to participate. Void where prohibited by law.
The winner will be selected by an electronic random drawing from a kept record containing all eligible ticket stubs, as required under ORC 2915.092. The drawing will take place at 225 N Lake St. South Amherst, Ohio. The winner will be notified by email and publicly announced on Instagram, Facebook, and this website.
As a 501(c)(3) organization, The Susan Ann Foundation retains proceeds in accordance with its mission. 50% of net proceeds are donated directly to charitable causes supporting medical research, treatment, and health-related programs. The remaining 50% is reinvested to sustain and grow the Foundation's future philanthropic initiatives. All proceeds are held in a dedicated raffle account and distributed by check or electronic transfer only.
The Susan Ann Foundation maintains all required records including gross receipts, expenses, prize winner documentation, and net profit distributions for a minimum of three years in compliance with ORC Section 2915.10. Records are maintained at the Foundation's principal place of business in Grafton, Ohio.
The winner is responsible for all applicable local, state, and federal taxes. The Susan Ann Foundation will provide federal tax assistance contingent upon the winner establishing and maintaining primary residency at the property for a minimum of two years.
